Utilize the following information to get to the Peaks Men’s Clinic from Billings (or anywhere east of Butte).

Take exit 241 (the exit comes up pretty quickly after the crest of a hill, so be cautious).

Exit 241 (Pipestone Exit)

Turn right at stop sign, turn left on Delmoe Lake Road – take courage, my friend! Your journey is just beginning!

Stay on Delmoe Lake Road for about 45 minutes to 1 hour (maybe more, maybe less), at which point you will begin to descend and make a hairpin turn to the left.

As the road continues down, just to the right you will see a dirt “road” (more of a Jeep trail) with a sign indicating PEAKS ->. Take this road.

Watch for “Peaks” sign

As you proceed up this road, you will come to a gate (see map above) that is padlocked.  Fear not intrepid traveler! For the secret to obtaining passage is to enter the combination of 2216 on the orange-colored lock. (It’s usually orange in some way, but not always – just try all of them if the first one doesn’t work.) Once the combination is entered, PULL HARD to open it.

As you will see upon arrival at aforementioned gate, the trail beyond is quite steep and rocky – go carefully and succeed, you will!

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CLOSE AND LOCK THE GATE! THIS IS IMPERATIVE!

After successfully traversing the steep and rocky hill, (and locking the gate), your path will lead you to another, more primitive, gate. Simply slide the wooden pole(s) off to the side and proceed.

Steep Hill and Primitive Gate

PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN THE GATE TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE! THIS IS IMPERATIVE!

Upon closing the aforementioned gate, continue your expedition and you will approach the edge of the lake.  Proceed with caution Saintly Soldier of the Sovereign Savior, for danger lurks around yonder corner! (Well, at least, it could be lurking… in particularly rainy spring and summers, the lake is rather full and you may find yourself traversing deep water as you go around the bend – see below).

Possible Deep Water Hazard

Continue on, dear brother, and do not stray from the path for your journey is nearing its end! In about 15 minutes on a very bumpy, dusty road, you will reach the camp of Intrepid Saints – simply look toward the southwest (left) and the camp you will see!
